The History
Local Farming Tradition Since 1887
We have the original family deed dating back to February 14th 1887. Charles Turner was the original owner and operator.
The farm has been passed down 5 generations, Charles, George, Frank, Terry, Eric. We are excited to be still farming the same ground in the beautiful Morgan Valley and we are excited for the future and what we are continuing to build with the valves that have been passed from generation to generation.
The farm started with mainly draft horses, horses are the only animal that has never left the farm. Dairy Cows, beef cattle, pigs, and goats have all been raised here. We now primarily focus on show cattle and sheep.
Crops have always been grown on the farm. Sugar beets, cabbage, corn, pumpkins, and lots of grain have been grown. Now our main crops are alfalfa and grass hay.

The sleepless nights, early mornings, late nights in the barn, and sacrifices of missed extracurricular activities are the unseen driving forces that push us forward.
